Round Lake Produce OwnersRound Lake Produce & Distributing began 35 years ago as Round Lake Fruit Farm. Just prior, George and Chris Wizner purchased a one hundred acre parcel in Laingsburg, MI. From there they planted apple, cherry, peach and plum orchards, as well as strawberry and raspberry fields. Thus began Round Lake Fruit Farm. People would “head to the farm” from all over the state of Michigan for the Wizner’s famous produce. As the orchard started to produce apples they began processing cider and caramel apples. These Round Lake goodies were sold and distributed all over the state of Michigan. During these years, George and Chris had two daughters, Tracy and Kelly. As the girls grew up they both helped out on the farm with all sorts of chores including harvesting, berry picking, and helping the "you pick" customers.

Tracy joined them full time in the family business 15 years ago. Shortly after, the fresh cut fruit and vegetable division began. As the fresh cut business evolved and grew, the family decided to direct all efforts towards the cut division. They discontinued the farming operation, the cider mill and the caramel apples. This is when the business changed into the name you know it by today, Round Lake Produce & Distributing.

As a family team, George, Chris and Tracy are dedicated to caring for their valued customers with unsurpassed customer service and outstanding quality. Tracy has a passion for the family business and strives to buy the highest quality produce available on the market. Ensuring that each store carrying Round Lake's product line will have happy, satisfied, customers.

Here at Round Lake, our team is committed to protecting the integrity of the family company that has continued with its core business values established 35 years ago; looking forward to next generations joining and providing the same quality of service as we have today.
